Duke University Assistant Professor Jarvis McInnis Begins Fellowship at Schomburg Center
WASHINGTON, DC October 5, 2019 – Institute alumnus and Duke University Professor Jarvis McInnis to spend this academic year in New York. He is undertaking a National Endowment for the Humanities/ Ford Foundation Fellowship at the Schomburg Center for Research and Black Culture. The Schomburg Center, located in Harlem, is a major research library of the New York Public Library and an important repository of African American and African diaspora artifacts.
