Colin Ganges

Guilford College
Colin Ganges attends Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a philosophy major who hopes to have a career in politics. He participates in the honors program at Guilford and also participates in the Institute’s Greensboro program, the Greensboro Collegiate Institute. Colin’s hometown is Princeton, New Jersey.

Frank Godfrey

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Frank Godfrey attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a business major and was recently admitted to the Kenan-Flagler Business School. He hopes to become chief executive officer of a Fortune 500 company. Last summer, he participated in programs sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan Chase in New York. His hometown is Laurel, Maryland.

Henry Jones III

University of South Carolina Upstate
Henry Jones is a student at the University of South Carolina Upstate. A Renaissance man, he was captain of his high school football and basketball teams and also was an accomplished singer. He has continued singing as a member of his college’s gospel choir. His major is exercise science, which will prepare him for a career as a physical therapist, and is a member of Gamma Beta Phi honor society. His hometown is St. Helena Island, South Carolina.

Jamie Lykes II

Johnson and Wales University
Jamie Lykes II attends Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he is a fashion merchandising major. He makes custom clothing and is a fashion consultant. He has volunteered at Charlotte Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. His goal is to become a fashion designer and own a global apparel business. He is a member of the inaugural class of the Charlotte Collegiate Institute, remaining engaged through his freshman and sophomore years at JWU. His hometown is Statesville, North Carolina.

Miles Martin

Sewanee: The University of the South
Miles Martin attends Sewanee: the University of the South. He is a political science major and hopes for a career in law. He is a Bonner Scholar, signifying that he devotes a considerable portion of his time to volunteer efforts, and a member of the university’s track and field team. An entrepreneur, he founded a consulting business to advise student athletes on matters involving lifestyle and financial management. His hometown is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Landon Veney

The University of Massachusetts at Amherst
Landon Veney is a pre-med biology major and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Having a passion for service, Landon enlisted in the Army National Guard at the age of 17 and also volunteers as a Firefighter-Emergency Medical Technician. Hey somehow found time to work as an orientation leader at UMass last summer, helping the University welcome more than 1000 first year and transfer students to campus each week. He is the younger brother of Institute alumni‘s Colin Veney and his hometown is North Syracuse, New York.
