Internships
Scholars work full-time as interns for major educational institutions, businesses, hospitals, law firms, congressional offices, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and news agencies.
After being notified of acceptance into the program, students are asked to complete an extensive internship questionnaire. The information provided enables the Institute staff to identify internship opportunities that will help them reach their career goals.
Efforts are made to assign students to paid internships. However, we do not pass up great opportunities because an organization does not pay its interns. In such cases, the Institute provides a stipend of up to $5,000 to the student.
